A HyperDoc is a Google Document or Slideshow that is focused on hands on virtual learning. They require the student to click on links to learn more about the topic. These links could include text, images, and or video to understand the subject. Tools can also be attached for real hands on learning, like Google Maps or Earth to learn more about the globe and where things are. There are many ways you may be asked to show your understanding of the topic; comments, Padlet responses, worksheets, or other online tools may be used. It is beneficial for many students as they can learn at their own pace. The need to interact with the content forces students to have a deeper comprehension with the information and gets rid of the teacher having to lecture.

This
HyperDoc is about learning more about shapes, particularly triangles. It gives links to explore more about triangles; one to an app about all the different types of triangles you can make and a worksheet classifying different types of triangles. There are even explainer videos about the properties of triangles and how to use a protractor. To demonstrate what you've learned there are fun projects to choose from.
Overall, HyperDocs are very useful in the classroom and in my opinion is a nice and organized way to learn as all material and steps are laid out. I wish it could be implemented in more courses I'm taking as a student.
