As a college student, I have come to recognize the ways technology has changed the way we learn - a great tool I have used during studying is something called a HyperDoc - basically it is a digital lesson plan. However, it is a plan in format,h everything at your own speed. It is not a simple collection of links; instead,d learning that includes questions and insights, incorporating content from video clips, articles, and more, all allowing you to progress throug it offers guide integrated within one place.
What I love the most about HyperDocs is that it’s easy to make learning seem so much more interactive by them you can interact with it, don’t just watch or read it you can do the material right away for example a HyperDoc can play a short video up front then ask you to put into a Google Doc or a Padlet, what do you think, this keeps you reading because you’re not only reading but you’re doing something, not just watching. They all help with organisation because everything you need is in one place, you don’t need to scramble from the website to the website. Teachers can create them for any subject and students can work with them on their own or as part of a group and I think that makes it helpful in in-person, as well as online learning. Students take it even more seriously.
You can just take your time go back if you missed the first link and see what links are the most exciting for you which creates a bit of independence and makes it easier for you to focus, be less stressed out and more creative. In general, HyperDocs provide more active involvement and flexibility, allowing all students to take responsibility within the lessons while maintaining the fun factor and making it easier to follow. I think more educators should adopt it, as it aligns with the way people learn nowadays, characterized by being always connected and in a state of discovery. keep spaced out.
