Rocketbook Beacons are a really cool accessibllility tool for Stockton University.  By opening the rocketbook app, and scanning the marks on the whiteboards, students can collect notes on their lectures.  It's really helpful.

Genio

Genio Notes is a recording program I use.  It records the lectures as they're spoken, and with some manual input, can take notes, while the lecture is recorded, transcribe audio, and remind me of homework assignments I need to do.  It can also replay the recorded lectures, so I can catch something I missed.

JAWS (Screen Reader) | Lane Community College

Jaws software is a screenreader that can help students who are visually impaired.  This can really help students, who are struggling to read on their computers in class.

ReaderPen Secure - An assistive device ...

C Pen Reader. A device that reads text out loud in a digital voice.  Really helpful for students, who struggle to read.  Best part is it requires no WiFi, so students will not be be screwed, if they can't connect to WiFi.

ZoomText – Freedom Scientific

Zoom Text.  A screen magnifier that helps students zoom in on the screen, and read better.  A basic feature that all modern computers have, and very useful.

Dragon NaturallySpeaking: Then & Now ...

Dragon Naturally Speaking is a voice to text program that enables students to write documents with speech-to-text.  On top of that, it also incorporates text-to-speech, meaning it goes both ways.  By having it go both ways, students will be able to better comprehend written words.


Kurzweil 3000 Windows Edition | VisionAid

Kurzweil 3000 has built in features that help students learn to improve their reading, writing, and studying skills.  This includes learning programs that can teach skills to students, and text to speech that helps with reading comprehension.  Through both helping students practice their skills, and helping in the classroom, Kurzweil helps students learn to be more independent.
